Sharon Miller-Mitchell

Sharon Kay Miller-Mitchell, 67 of Leroy, passed away suddenly on February 28, 2023 in Charleston General Hospital.

She was born November 19, 1955 in Charleston, daughter of the late Award and Georgia Casto. She was a caregiver and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 11 years, John Mitchell; children, Kathy (Donavon) Lester, Roger Dale (Katie) Miller; step children, John (Doreen) Mitchell Jr., Amanda (James) Lee; grandchildren, Heather Congrove, Ilithyia Miller, Athena Miller, Allie Greenlee, Macy Lee and Jamison Walker; great grandchildren, Izziah and Abby; siblings Bobby Casto, and Rev. Billy Casto, Wanda Lanham, Ida Thomas, Brenda Crank and Linda Williams.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lanny Dale Miller; a son, Shawn Miller; a brothers Glen Casto, Junior Casto and Roger Casto and a grandson, Donnie Lester.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Carl Casto officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Sunday at the Funeral Home.
