Sherry Ann Dillon

Sherry Ann Dillon, 58 of Ravenswood, passed away September 23, 2016 following a long illness. She was born February 27, 1958 in Ripley, a daughter of Frances Palmer Angus and the late Brooks Wayne. Sherry was a homemaker and attended the Independent Fellowship Church. In addition to her mother, Frances Angus she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Randy Dillon; her sons, Tyler Eugene (Katie) Dillon and Derick Wayne Dillon; grandson Wade Eugene Dillon; brothers Bobby (Mildred) Wayne of Sandyville, Norris (Sherry) Angus of Sandyville, Joe (Rina) Angus of Barbourville and Terry (Rennie) Angus of Ravenswood; sisters Connie Dees of Georgia, Rita (Doug) Hill of Clearwater, FL, Brenda Harrison of Kenna , Karen (Kevin) Coffman of Sissonville and Diane (Frank) Lowry of Ripley; special friends Oscar Thomas Workman, Michael Fox, Lyla Nay and Rose and Bruce Summerville and family. She was preceded in death by her step-father of many years, Billy Angus whom she considered her father; a brother, Doug Angus and a special neighbor, Dutch Vandyke. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor David Long officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
