Shirley Jean Haas

Shirley Jean Haas, 71, of Ripley, formerly of Sissonville, passed away Friday morning, March 14, 2014 at CAMC Memorial Division following an extended illness. Shirley was born November 30, 1942 in Charleston, daughter of the late Joseph and Carol King Cummings. She worked in retail sales most of her life and also worked as a home health care giver. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. (me-maw). Surviving: Her husband of 49 years, Buddy R. Haas; Daughters, Dolly Hedrick (Fred) of Florida, Robin Crum (Bill) of Kentucky, Penny Haynes (Charles) of Liberty, West Virginia; Son, Buddy Haas Jr., (Kimberly) of Sissonville; Sister, Kitty Casto (Rev. Billy Casto) of Sissonville; Ten grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. A celebration of the life of Shirley Haas will be Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Casto officiating.
