Shirley Parker

Shirley Parker, 72, of Ripley passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 following an extended illness. Shirley was born October 1, 1952, a daughter of the late Rolland and Sarah Marmett Winter.

In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ron Parker.

Shirley is survived by daughters Rhonda (Caleb) Knight and Sarah (Zack) Wine; sisters Dianne (Greg) Slaughter and Sharon Winter; and grandchildren, Tyler Wine, Jackson Wine, and Finley Knight. She will be remembered especially for her love of teaching.

To honor Shirley’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held for the family at Fairview Cemetery on Shamblin Run Rd. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Waybright Funeral Home.
