Shirley J. Westfall

Shirley Jean Westfall, 75 of Statts Mill passed away August 18, 2023 in Mountainview Care Center following a long illness.

She was born July 23, 1948 in Ripley, daughter of the late Ray and Violet Parsons Fields. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her flowers. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Westfall and James Westfall; daughters Diane Bowers, Mary Ann Westfall, Linda Thompson and Jeanetta Moore; brothers Mark and Robert Fields; sisters Sharon Easter, Karen Wallen, Dottie Stephens and Patty Hall; grandchildren Hershel Westfall, Jessica Stalnaker, Thomas Westfall, Zach Wilson, Angela Westfall, Kristia Westfall, Jimmie Westfall Jr., Victoria Bradley, Ashley Westfall, Quentin Westfall, Travis Westfall, Sabrina Miller, Allyson Davis, Claire Thompson, Grace Thompson, Brady Thompson and Makayla Moore. She was also survived by many great grandchildren.

In addition to her parent’s she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald Westfall, sons, Jackie Westfall and Jimmie Westfall; grandchildren, Cody Westfall, Michael Wilson and Waylon Westfall; brothers Ricky Fields and David Fields.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the White Pine Cemetery near Aplin Ridge. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home.
