Shirley Westfall

Shirley Jones Westfall, 84, of Ripley, passed away Wednesday evening, June 4, 2014, at the Ravenswood Care Center following an extended illness. She was born April 25, 1930 at Harmony, daughter of the late David and Dona Westfall Jones. Shirley was a retail clerk at several area stores but primarily worked for Heck's. Surviving: Son, Danny Williams (Jeanie) of Ripley; Sister, Hazel Cummings of Gay; Grandchildren, Steven Williams and Janie Smith; Great-grandchildren, Miranda and Alexis Smith. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Westfall, brothers Mayford, Delmer and Ernest Jones, sisters Mary Hissom and Virginia Lester and granddaughter Rhonda Smith. A service celebrating the life of Shirley Westfall will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Aplin Church with Pastor Danny Cummings officiating. Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.
