Stephanie Shawn Casto

Stephanie Shawn Casto, 54, of Ripley passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.

Stephanie was born May 11, 1969 in Charleston a daughter of Bernice (Anderson) Casto and the late Denvil Casto.

Stephanie was a 1992 graduate of Ripley High School and enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. She was a people person who loved to greet people and often could be found at Walmart doing so. She enjoyed listening to her favorite artists, Randy Travis and Josh Turner as well as watching the Bob Barker episodes of The Price is Right.

In addition to her mother, Bernice, Stephanie is survived by her brother and sisters Denvil Casto, Valerie Casto and Melissa Wahner. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly: Adrienne, Shaun, Jazmyn, Jace, James, Sammy, Ray, Grayson, Ravyn, Josh, Ashley and Brooke; great-niece Alivia and great-nephew Nathan

A funeral service to celebrate Stephanie’s life will be held 2p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Melhorn officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Baptist Grove Cemetery, Frozen Camp.
