Stephen R. Foster

January 2, 1959 — May 6, 2023

Stephen Richard Foster, 64 of Charleston, went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2023 following an extended illness.

He was born January 2, 1959 in Charleston, son of Donald Foster and the late Mabel Deal Foster. Steve served his Lord and Savior as an Evangelist and Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, Donald Foster, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty Edens Foster; sons James (Brandy) Foster and Josh (Cassidy) Foster; brother Chris (Pam) Foster; sister Laura (Sonjay) Agarwal; grandchildren Arabella and Gavin and their mother, Ashley Foster and step grandson Braxton.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the New Prospect Baptist Church, Sissonville with Pastor Jerry Naylor officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the church on Thursday.
