Steven Paul Philips, 71, of Kenna went to be with the lord on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
He was born September 18, 1952 in Charleston, WV and was the son of Guy Phillips and Phyllis Kidd.
Steven was a mechanic who enjoyed building and restoring antique vehicles, horseback riding, street bikes, and watching his favorite TV show, In the Heat of the Night.
He is survived by children Jason Phillips and Amanda Harper; sister, Deborah “Sis” Reed; Grandsons Jordan Phillips and Layton Phillips; Nieces Kathy Reed and Janice Cottrell (Stewart); Great Nephews, Christopher Cottrell and Thomas Casto; and a Great Niece, Adriana Pauley. He is also survived by great-great nephews and nieces Kylah Cottrell, Ely Casto, Emma Casto, Brentley Pauley, and Asher Middleton; and his best friend Freddy Milam (Libby).
Steven was preceded in death by his loving wife Rebecca Phillips and his son Stacy Phillips.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 17th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Long and Phillips Cemetery, Sissonville. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation towards Steven’s expenses.
