Sybil Sue Curry

Sybil Sue Curry, 68, of Sandyville passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at CAMC Memorial Hospice.

Sybil was born June 28, 1955 at Leon, WV a daughter of the late Dale and Anna Mae (Sayre) Barr. Sybil was the type of person that once you met her you would never forget her and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed gardening, was a member of the Wild Foods group and was a member of the Ravenswood Lutheran Church. Most of all she enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at their games.

Sybil is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kerry Curry; son Jeremiah Curry (Jessica); brothers John Barr (Heidi), Hazen Barr (Carol); sisters Ann King (Carl) and Mae Barr. Grandchildren Jackson and Amyah Curry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, James, Charlie and Tim Barr.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Donzel Murray officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
