Tammy Lynn Hurst

Tammy Lynn Hurst, 60, of Millwood passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

Tammy was born March 27, 1964 at Ravenswood, WV a daughter of Homer Sams and the late Shirley (Bowman) Sams.

Tammy enjoyed camping, gardening and working in her flower beds. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and loved the time shared with her family. She especially loved any time she got to spend with her children and grandchildren.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Donald Hurst; children Chris Smith (Melanie), Summer Lucky (Dewayne), Chilsey Hurst, Zack Hurst and Nicole Hurst; grandchildren Brooklyn Smith, Hannah Smith, Corbin Lucky, Emma Smith, Levi Lucky, Nevaeh Lucky and Carter Hurst; great-grandchildren Lincoln Shinn, Rowen Hersman and 2 more that are on the way. Siblings, Jerry Sams (Susie), Joe Sams, Missy Fields (Junior) and Ray Sams (Kim). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 3rd at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
