Thomas Lee Walker

Thomas Lee Walker, 73 of Sissonville, passed away June 22, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston following an extended illness. He was born July 22, 1943 at Charleston, a son of the late Delbert and Reba Layne Walker. He was a Maintenance Operator for Cabot Oil and Gas with 32 years of service. He was a Christian by faith and attended several community churches. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirley Pauley Walker; son Eric Walker of Natrona Heights, PA; brothers Gary Walker of Florida and Lovell (Rose) Walker of Hurricane; sisters Fay Southall of Sissonville, Wanda (Orville) McGraw of Charleston and Annie Shaffer of Cross Lanes; brothers and sisters in law, Kay Walker of Liberty, Clarence (Linda) Pauley of Florida, Wilbur Pauley of Sissonville, Marlene Walker of Charleston, Elmer and Carolyn Myers of Sissonville and Linda Pauley of Charleston; his grandchildren, Thomas “T.C.” Walker and Michael Walker of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Dana Walker, David Walker and Bill Walker; daughter-in-law Erica Shoemaker Walker; brothers-in-law Richard (Juanita) Pauley and Marvin Pauley and sisters-in-law Jenie Walker and Paulette Pauley. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Leroy Connor officiating. Burial will be in the Pauley Cemetery, Sissonville. Friends may call two hours prior to the service (Noon to 2:00 pm) Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in memory of Mr. Walker to the Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
