Thomas A. Wilkinson

Thomas A. Wilkinson, 91 of Sandyville, passed away February 11, 2022 at Hospice Care at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born July 23, 1930 in Leroy, WV, a son of the late Albert and Letha Balderson Wilkinson. He served his country in the United States Marines. Thomas retired from the Ames Company in Parkersburg and enjoyed farming. He was a member of the Tri County Worship Center in Rockport. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dortha VanNest Wilkinson and a grandson, Micheal Wilkinson. He is survived by his children, Terry Wilkinson, Thomas Wilkinson Jr, Todd Wilkinson and Joyce McCoy; grandchildren, Elizabeth McCoy, Trishten Wilkinson and Chad Anderson; great-grandchildren, Hagen, Sawyer, Josie and Liam. His children, Thomas Jr., Todd and Joyce would like to thank their brother Terry for the hard work and care he gave to their father which allowed him to stay in the comfort of his own home during his illness. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Leroy.
