Timothy Robert Simons

Tim Simons Timothy Robert Simons, 49, of Stonelick Road, Gay, passed away Monday morning, April 22, 2013 at his home following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 26, 1964 at Ripley, son of Donald R. and Barbara Sue Casto Simons. He was a Ripley High School graduate and attended numerous classes and training sessions related to his occupation as a heating and air conditioning specialist. He was employed by the H.E. Neumann Company as an environmental technician and also operated his own business, Simons Mechanical In addition to his parents he is survived by: His wife of 24 years, Elsa Stalnaker Simons; Son, Gregory Grant Simons of Morgantown; Step-Daughter, Amanda Sayre of Gay; Grandson, Dylan Brown of Gay; Sisters, Lisa Dawn Casto (Scott) of Leroy and Sherri Metz of Ripley. Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Daniel C. and Belva Alice Richards Simons and maternal grandparents Owen and Mildred Casto. Tim's life will be celebrated in a funeral service Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Creel Kerns officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Mt. Hope Church Cemetery at Frozen Camp. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11a.m.-1p.m. Wednesday.
