Tressie Hughes

Tressie Irene Hughes, 86 of Sandyville, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg following a long illness. She was born June 19, 1935 in Jackson County, daughter of the late Benjamin and Dollie Parsons Tolley. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing and taking care of her family. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Hughes and Brenda McDaniel; sons Rickey Hughes, David Hughes and Richard (Darlene) Hughes along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Blake Hughes and a son, Randall Hughes. Funeral Service will be11:00 am Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Dave Herdman officiating. Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery.
