Valarie G. Rhodes

Valarie Gail Rhodes, 64 of Ripley, passed away May 13, 2021 in Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 8, 1957 in Calhoun County daughter of the late Lee and Dessel Poling Brunty. She was a foster parent and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. She is survived by her son, Seth Rhodes; daughter Shelley Nichols; her companion, Ed “Pooch” Huffman; brother Verdis Brunty; sisters Vanessa Brunty and Valendra Ranson; grandchildren Dustin, Andrea, Destiny, Adrean, Ashley, Randy and Amber; great grandchildren, Braylee, Macie, Remington and Weston. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David Rhodes and a sister, Vanese Cedar. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Roane County.
