Vicki Jo Shockey

Vicki Jo Shockey, 69 of Ripley, passed away June 3, 2022 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg. She was born August 19, 1952 in Ravenswood, daughter of the late Glen and Ila Smith Shockey. She retired as an Art Teacher from Ripley Elementary School with 38 years of service. Vicki loved to read and was a very talented painter. She was a very active member of the Ravenswood Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School. One of her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Brenna (Rich Tippett) Shockey; brothers, Brian (Brenda) Shockey and Mark (Carolyn) Shockey; nephew Aaron Shockey and niece Amy Shockey; cousin Theresa Cooper and special friends, Cheryl Parsons, Artie Cross, Karen Anderson, Millie McKee, Pat Miller, Jolea Martin, Chelsea Gandee, Booth Gandee and Bryce Gandee, Vicki Lubicky and Dot Haught. She is also survived by many friends too numerous to mention.
