Virginia Madelyne Burdette

Virginia Madelyne Burdette, 93, of Ripley formerly of Medina passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Jackson General Hospital.

She was born December 18, 1929 to the late Albert and Blanche (Fields) Harpold. Virginia enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and reading books of all kinds. She was also a longtime member of the Rebecca Lodge and the Eastern Star.

Virginia is survived by her siblings Jackie Harpold, Janet Frum, Betty Jo Dopart and Molly Ann Perry. She is also survived by grandson Bri an Burdette; great-grandchildren Nicholas Brittaney, Jacob, Joel, Steven and Rebecca. She is also survived by 2 great-great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Rebecca Burdette.

In addition to her parents Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carroll Burdette; son Carroll Burdette Jr.; granddaughter Shelia Burdette; sisters Evelyn Poling and Doris Jean Waybright and a brother, James Harpold.
