Virginia Darlene Stier

Virginia Darlene Stier, 63 of Cottageville, WV, passed away July 25, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg. She was born July 30, 1954 in Spencer, a daughter of the late Franklin “Hank” and Ethelyn “Jane” Nichols Short. She was a CNA and worked for over 20 years at the Ravenswood Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by her husband, Michael Stier of Cottageville; daughter Amanda Butcher of Ripley; sister Charlene Stier of Lubeck and two grandchildren. A Memorial Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer, with Pastor Steve Sayre officiating.
