Vivian R Skeen

Vivian R. Skeen, 92 of Kenna passed away November 12, 2016 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born December 20, 1923 in Charleston, a daughter of the late Kenny Kelvy and Leva Myrtle Siders Kessel. She was a homemaker and wife. She was a Christian and a member of the Goshen Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting along with canning fruits and vegetables and sharing them with others. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her two husband Darrell Counts and Clement “Pete” Skeen; her aunt whom helped raise her after her mother passed away, Lessie Siders; brothers William, Aubrey, Carl, and Gerald Kessel; and two sisters who died in infancy and a son in law. She is survived by her children Mae Cumming (friend Ralph Rankin), Irene Milam and Garnet Casto (Paul); David Skeen, Carol Southall (Dale), Danny Skeen, Joyce Naylor (Jeff); brother Virgil Kessel; grandchildren Debbie Boggess and her son Zac Boggess, Jesse Naylor and his sisters Ashlee Fewell, Nikki Lynch and Tori Fisher, Tracy Magyar, Jeff Cummings, Jay Cummings, Todd Milam, Lee Milam, Anthony Milam, and J.P. Casto. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and family and friends that will love and miss her. Funeral Service will be at noon Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Kerns Cemetery, Kentuck.
