Wendell L. Blackwell

Wendell Lee Blackwell, 59 of Lucasville, OH, formerly of Jackson County, passed away April 12, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center following a long illness. He was born October 15, 1960 in Wood County, a son of the late Verle and Pauline Miller Blackwell. He was a junk dealer and pick up man. He is survived by brothers Jerry Blackwell, Jessie (Tressie) Blackwell and Richard Blackwell; sisters Lorie Starcher and Amber Blackwell along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cleo Blackwell. There will be a walk through visitation so family and friends may pay their respect on Tuesday from 1 to 3 pm at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Due to the COVID 19 virus it is asked that you adhere to all CDC guidelines. Following the visitation time there will not be any public service.
