Wilda "Judy" Fluharty

Wilda M. “Judy” Fluharty, 90 of Ripley, passed away March 14, 2022 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, WV following a long illness. She was born October 12, 1931 in Salem, WV daughter of the late Gladys Irene Davis. She was a homemaker and member of the West Ripley Church of Christ. Judy enjoyed cooking for her family (especially her fudge), reading, crossword puzzles and puzzles. Judy and her husband enjoyed traveling and seeing new places whether it be near or far. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her church family She is survived by her children Robert D. Fluharty and his wife Linda of Charleston, Pamela L. McCown and her husband Michael of Mineral Wells, and Darrell E. Fluharty and his wife Lorie of Pikeville, KY; her grandchildren, Kim, Melissa Mae, Adam, Landon, Sara, Blake, Patrick, Jordyn, John, Megan, David, Michael and Robert; great grandchildren, Lexi, Jack, Adelyn, Carson, Cammy, Sasha, Olivia and Zana Isabel who is expected in late April. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert E. Fluharty and one brother and sister. Funeral Service will be 11:00am Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Following the funeral service a committal service will be held at 2:30 pm at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Salem. A time of visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the funeral home.
