Willard Lee King

Willard Lee King, 71 of Niota, TN, formerly of Sissonville, passed away May 28, 2018 in Sweetwater Hospital, Sweetwater, TN. He was born May 4, 1947 in Charleston, son of the late Vestes ad Ruby Robinson King. He was a graduate of Sissonville High School, Class of 1966 and worked as a truck driver for Central Distributing. He loved working on cars especially 1960’s era Chevrolet Trucks. He never met a stranger and could always strike up a conversation with anyone. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gale Thomas King; his sons, Eric King and Kevin King and his wife Dessie; grandson, Trevor King; aunts Imogene Dorsey and Delma Sigmon along with several cousins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is serving the family.
