William "Bill" Hart Arbogast

Arbogast, William Hart, 88, of Kenna WV, passed away Saturday morning, September 7, 2024.

Bill was born in Greenville Ohio on April 17, 1936. He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison Hart Arbogast and mother, Salome (King) Arbogast and four siblings, Gladys Ross (Indiana), Clarence Arbogast (Ohio), Don Arbogast (Washington) and Ruth Anderson (California). Bill was a 1954 graduate of Sidney High School. He was a US Army veteran and served in Company ‘C’ 1st Battle Group, 87th Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division, stationed in Vicenza, Italy in 1958-60. He retired from Holbart Corporation World Headquarters (later PreMark International and ITW) in Troy, Ohio after 38 years in charge of the nationwide computer system. Bill loved working on and restoring cars, square dancing and traveling across the country sightseeing. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Janet (Walker Summers) Arbogast, his son Jeffrey Hart Arbogast (Patricia) of Washington State, stepson Timothy Summers (Debby) of Ohio, grandchildren Tara Arbogast Sutherland (Will) of Washington State, Garrett Hart Arbogast of Utah and great grandson Keegan William Sutherland. A short ceremony will be held Thursday, September 12, 11:00a.m. at the Waybright Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Donations in Bill’s name may be made to the Ronald McDonald House at CAMC Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Charleston, WV.
