William "Bill" Lanham

William "Bill" Lanham, 78 of Kenna, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at Charleston Memorial Hospital. Bill was born May 5, 1938 at Charleston, son of the late W.R. and Anna Estiline Parsons Lanham. He worked for Kanawha Manufacturing with 29 years of service. Bill attended the Allen Fork Community Church and Enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. He is survived by his son Jeffrey S. (Michele) Lanham; two grandchildren, Tabitha and Cory; brother Henry Lanham of Kenna and Denver Lanham of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded death in by his loving wife Emogene Dixon Lanham; brothers Jesse Lanham Sr., Havard Lanham and Roy Lanham and sisters Opal Siders and Sybil Simmons. A time of visitation to call on the family will be on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Funeral Service will be held at Noon on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum with Pastor Jerry Bonnett officiating.
