William "Bill" Richards

William “Bill” Arthur Richards, 56 of Charleston, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House. Bill was born November 29, 1961 at Charleston, a son of the late Howard and Ella Mae Kessinger Richards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Troy Ray Richards. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Robert Richards of Charleston and Dakota Richards of Charleston; daughters Jessica Angle of Alum Creek, Andrea Richards of Charleston and Savannah Richards of Charleston; brothers Wayne Richards of Charleston, Kevin Carroll of Elkview, Lee Richards of Charleston and Ivan Richards of Charleston; sisters Linda Burdett of Charleston and Kay Richards of Ripley; grandsons J.R. Angle of Alum Creek, Matthius Smith of Charleston; granddaughters Eva Angle and Kaylee Angle both of Alum Creek. Bill loved camping and fishing and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. His family will remember him being a good cook. He was a big Steelers fan, hard worker and loved country music. Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Timmy Keely officiating. Burial will be in the Kessinger Family Cemetery, Cross Lanes. Friends may call from 1 PM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
