Winfred Dwight Hannum, 56 of Ripley passed away December 26, 2012 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus following a long illness. He was born May 11, 1956 at Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Bernard and Doris Ashby Hannum. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a mechanic. He most recently worked at 21 Country Market Hardware. He is survived by his wife Wanda Sue Bergdorf Hannum; son Ryan Patrick Hannum and his wife Tasha of Ripley; brothers Bernard Hannum Jr. of Amarillo, TX, Thomas Hannum of Big Springs, TX, Randolph Hannum of Benton, ARK, and Leonard Hannum of Ravenswood; sisters Darlene Evans of Ravenswood, Dawn Shubenok of Baltimore, MD and Barbara Sollenberger of Baltimore; grandchildren Austin Ryan and Jayden Rana Hannum; Step mother Marie Good of Ripley and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Saturday, December 19, 2012 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Herman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. Friends may call from 11 until 1 Saturday at the funeral home.
