Yvonna "Lou" Sayre

Yvonna Louise "Lou" Parsons Sayre, 61 of Ripley passed away February 17, 2016 at her home following a long illness. She was born September 3, 1954 at Charleston, a daughter of the late Robert and Brenda Comer Kessel. Lou was a graduate of DuPont High School, was a CNA Caregiver and attended the Grace Gospel Church. She loved golfing, was a member of Greenhills Country Club and was one of the few to make a hole in one. Lou was an avid WVU Mountaineer Fan. She is survived by her husband Steve Sayre, daughter Geneva "G.J. Anderson and her husband Bud of Sandyville, Katrina Boggs and her husband David of Ripley; son Robert Parsons and his wife Chrissy of St. Clairsville, OH; step daughter Brittin Harper and her husband Waid; sisters Sherry Southall and her husband Fred and Ginger Mason and her husband P.E.; brother Richie Kessel and his wife Tammie; grandchildren Camden Anderson and his wife Stacy, Jacob Anderson, Logan Anderson, Alex Parsons, Austin Parsons, Tyler Parsons, Darin Clegg, Taylen Boggs and Elliott Harper and great grandchild, Easton Anderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Parsons; a brother, Robert Lee Kessel Jr and step son Robert Keith Sayre. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Dee Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the Parsons Cemetery, Gay, WV. Friends may call from 11 am until 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
