Zachary Daniel Johnson

Zachary Daniel Johnson, 17, of Ripley passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Zachary was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and loved football. He was known for his contagious smile, light hearted personality, ornery sense of humor, and his talent for anything he tried. He could simply light up a room from his presence alone. A beautiful soul. He was preceded in death by his grandmother (Brenda Miller), father (Daniel Johnson) and grandfather (Daniel L. Johnson). Zachary, left this earth with love from many family and friends. He was the youngest of three children. He is survived by his two older sisters, Desireé (Logan) Johnson of Ripley, Ashley (Jacob) Johnson of Ripley, his mother Sheila Johnson of Ravenswood, grandmother, Glenda Johnson of Ripley, uncle Luke Johnson of Ripley, aunt Amy Kidd of Elkview, Terry(Heather) Miller of Belle. Zachary was also surrounded by several cousins, great aunts/uncles and many friends. He is so loved beyond measure and will be missed by so many. A service to celebrate Zac’s life will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22nd at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
